Presenters Lindholm and Al-Sami endeavor in this seminar to explain the background and scope of the 'Danish Special Act on Ukrainian Displaced Persons'. They aim also to compare the Act with previous special acts relating to war refugees in Denmark as well as to the EU Temporary Protection Directive, enacted in response to the influx of Ukrainian refugees. Finally, the situation of persons not included under the Act is considered.

This presentation is therefore expected to trigger a debate not only on the solutions but also on how design can propose a strategy for reducing the gap between migrants and their own rights.
